Permanently banned Supno and User11 for being alternate Nics for a previously banned poster. For those interested in engaging in discussion of aliens, conspiracy theories or other alternate 'news' (using the term loosely), DT is NOT the place to do so, go elsewhere.
Also, the use of multiple IDs is not allowed, particularly if used to get around bannings.

Banned Crusader2000 permanently following a repeat of problem posting behavior which had resulted in bannings before.

Was advised by a number of Mods that he needed to change his behaviour - warnings ignored
Was warned about derailing topics
Has had numerous complaints from a variety of members about posting behaviour and about disrupting threads
The patience metre ran out. This has been doscussed by the Mods - as were all his previous infractions.
People, we will be accomodating as much as possible, but when we give private warnings, when we repeatedly try to negotiate behaviour change. when its apparent that the member corporate is fed up etc... then we aren't going to jeopardise the well being and culture of everyone else in this community.

Banned Pyongyang for one week for various repeated troll-like posts. If one wishes to be allowed to remain a member of DefenceTalk, abide by the forum rules. This means being respectful of someone, even if you disagree with their position. Also, if one is making claims that are otherwise unsupported, one needs to provide sources and/or evidence of expertise in the field. Lastly, Mod edits are put there for a reason, do not delete them.

Ray17, banned permanently! If you are not interested in serious and sincere discussions, then there is no place for you here. Go back to the gutter you came out of and stay there until they teach you how to follow simple guidelines. If you feel like posting jokes and need to be "funny" then find a different website for humor and such topics. I am sorry, I can't seem to put up with stupid and incendiary posts intended to insult and mock another party, especially when they are off topic!

DIREWOLF75, banned for one month (4 weeks) for violating forum rules. Disagreement is okay but aggressive and combative way of debating is not welcomed. It invites similar behavior from other members and causes threads to be locked and often results in actions like a ban.
I hope we can all agree to disagree and respect each other and our opinions.

How could someone claiming to be Argentinean think that 'pirate' is 'pyrat' in English? It's 'pirata' in Spanish.

He was repeatedly told to not post about the S80 and other Spanish equipment in the RAN thread. His posts have also been reported by several senior members as being disruptive, repetitive and not listening to what others said when they pointed out fallacies of his posts. .
