There is no difference but do you think the US approved Iraq using chemical weapon against Iran?
The US Senate didn't; they passed sanctions against Iraq in response to that, however the White House vetoed those, and sent Rumsfeld to "resume relations with Iraq" at the same time.

There are plenty of articles from the time before the '03 Invasion backing this up.

A number of quotes from a 2002 Guardian article:
A 1994 congressional inquiry also found that dozens of biological agents, including various strains of anthrax, had been shipped to Iraq by US companies, under licence from the commerce department.
Furthermore, in 1988, the Dow Chemical company sold $1.5m-worth (£930,000) of pesticides to Iraq despite suspicions they would be used for chemical warfare.
Now back to Sudan?

SIPRI has updated its Arms Export Database to include 2007 data btw.

China -> Sudan exports, 2003-2007 period:

Armored Vehicles
10x T-85-IIAP, delivered 2002-2003; local designation Al-Bashier
10x WZ-551, delivered 2004
Aircraft
min 3x A-5C, delivered 2003; number unclear, SIPRI says "up to 20"
12x K-8, six delivered 2006; includes combat role-configured aircraft

Data as of 2008/04/03.

Ah, there it was, i was looking to quote him on that too :p:

Please note that China is not the primary supply for such "low-tech" armament. That would be the old standard for the region - Belarus.

Primarily MG-armed scout vehicles, APCs, artillery - that's the stuff that would primarily be "useful" against civilians.

Chemicals

Its an interesting Blog setup to basically make the US look bad and one could tell that pretty quickly by how it's written. From what I saw there were illegal chemical transfer some reported here from the US and other countries involved as well in fact a whole bunch. But you made sure not to list any others except the evil United States in your statement. Still nothing like the US government use military transports to fly the chemicals to Iraq and mix them for them? Or tell them how to use in battle. And weren't Mirage F-1 used for the spraying maybe American personnel went over and setup the equipment on the French fighters too, better yet maybe they really flew the aircraft too. All this shows you found a anti-American web site blaming the chemical weapons used by Iraq to be cause by the Americans. http://www.defencetalk.com/forums/images/smilies/lol2.gif
