Hard to believe the pie eating guy from Wilson (with half of it down the front of his ill fitting shirt) and a hollow boom wasn’t enough to “deter” (well anything…) this ground assault, but here we are.
But good to see the base went (eventually) into lockdown (base warning system sounded between 5 and 8 times I am advised before anyone knew what was going on…) which means pers were literally hiding under desks…
Good to see our main bases are as secure on the ground as they appear to be from the air.
Can‘t stop individual drunks or civilian drones. I’m sure ballistic missiles will be no issue…

Northern Territory Police are continuing the search for a man who allegedly broke into RAAF Base Darwin, assaulted a member of the Australian Defence Force and stole a security vehicle before fleeing.
