A Bosnian Serb fugitive arrested in Argentina has agreed to be extradited to The Hague in the Netherlands.
Milan Lukic Tuesday appeared in an Argentine courtroom, where he agreed to face the International Criminal Tribunal for the former Yugoslavia.
Lukic was arrested Monday in an upscale neighborhood in Buenos Aires.
In 1998, The Hague tribunal indicted Lukic for crimes against humanity for his role in the killing of more than 60 Muslims in eastern Bosnia in 1992.
Last month, a Serbian court sentenced Lukic in absentia to 20 years in prison for kidnapping and killing a busload of Bosnian Muslims.
Spokesmen for European Union and NATO peacekeepers in Sarajevo have pledged to continue the search for remaining fugitive war crimes suspects until all are in custody.
