Russian Agency on Industry, The event of international meaning — VI Exibition of Military Land Equipment, Technologies and Armament VTTV-Omsk-2005 – will be held on 7-11 June, 2005 in the City of Omsk, Russia.
The exhibition is held in accordance with the Decree of Russian Government with support of federal ministries and agencies, the Rosoboronexport State Company and the Siberian Agreement Interregional Association. The Exhibition is organized by the Russian Agency on Industry, the Omsk Oblast Government, and operated by the Intersib International Exhibition Centre
[Visitors] will have a unique opportunity to get acquainted both with traditional in the world market, and with the newest samples of special, precision arms and military technics, means of gathering, processing and transfer of the information, means of delivery of staff to a zone of operations, and also samples of hi-tech production of dual and civil use.
Military experts, the attache, experts of the organizations and firms from 42 foreign states have wished to take part in work of an exhibition and its business program.
The lay-out of the exhibition last in 2003 VTTV-Omsk settled down on 43 000 square metres, including special demonstration range. 189 enterprises from Russia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Ukraine, Slovakia, Germany, England, Sweden, Denmark, and Switzerland have taken part in its work.
The exhibition was visited over 82 thousand person, among which by 172 representatives from 37 countries of the world. It has also received wide illumination in regional and central mass-media.
The region has significant industrial potential, and an exhibition should transfer technologies from the West on the East. The area should become a place of a meeting of the companies from Central and the East Europe and their partners from region of Central Asia (Siberia, China, etc.).
