US Provides Polish Air Force with F-16 Operations Familiarization
Representatives from Poland’s Air Force recently visited U.S. Air Force Europe’s 31st Fighter Wing in Aviano, Italy to further familiarize themselves with F-16 operations. Briefings focused on pre-flight and post-flight assessments and reporting.
This important familiarization event was made possible by U.S. European Command’s Directorate of Logistics and Security Assistance and paid for under the U.S.-Poland Military-to-Military Program.
Events such as this one strengthen long-standing, Polish-American military cooperation while enhancing mutual interoperability and operational capabilities.
Major James Fisher and Mr. Jerry Brozyna, of the U.S. Embassy’s Office of Defense Cooperation, played a key role in organizing this and many similar events that have ensured the success of the $3.8 billion F-16 program.
