Bulgarian Ministry of Defence, The Bulgarian government is doing what is necessary for the modernisation of the armed forces, including the Navy, said Prime Minister Sergei Stanishev during the naval training with international participation Breeze 2006, held near Varna.
The Prime Minister pointed out that the process will continue in a balanced way, involving different types of armed forces and meeting their needs. He pointed out that Breeze has a long tradition in the navy, and is held on a yearly basis but the training changes every time, corresponding to new challenges
