Successful Firing Test of the New AAW System on the LCF/F124 Frigate

Blohm+Voss, HAMBURG, Germany — Upon the successful firing of an Evolved Seasparrow Missile, another firing test with an SM-2 missile was carried out on November 27, 2003, with the new AAW system APAR/SMART-L developed in the Netherlands and Germany.  
 
The same AAW system is to be installed on the new F124 class frigate. The verification was made on board the Dutch frigate
