SAN DIEGO and MCLEAN: Science Applications International Corporation today announced it has been awarded a prime contract by the Space and Naval Warfare Systems Center Pacific (SSC Pacific) to provide engineering and technical support to the Radio Frequency (RF) Communications division.
SAIC was one of four companies awarded a five year, indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity contract that has a five year base period of performance, eight six-month award terms and a combined potential value of more than $98 million if all options are exercised. Work will be performed primarily in San Diego.
SAIC has been supporting SSC Pacific for more than 30 years. Under the new contract, SAIC will provide systems engineering and technical support for the development and deployment of RF communications solutions including systems engineering, test and evaluation and network architecture design. SAIC will also provide facilities operation and maintenance; implementation and integration, logistics support, on-site technical assistance; and security accreditation and certification.
