Radio Free Europe, The Russian Navy says it has successfully test-launched a newly developed long-range ballistic missile.
The Bulava missile blasted off from a submerged nuclear submarine in the White Sea and hit its designated target in the far-eastern Kamchatka Peninsula.
It was the second test-firing of the new generation missile Bulava and the first underwater launch of the missile.
The intercontinental ballistic missile has a range of 8,000 kilometers.
