Rosoboronexport State Corporation, DEFEXPO India Exhibition is one of priorities for Russian defence producers. Russian-Indian co-operation in the military-technical field accounts for more than four decades and forms the basis of strategic partnership between Moscow and New Delhi. Russia takes part in the exhibition on the regular basis.
In accordance with the decision of the Government of the Russian Federation, the Rosoboronexport State Corporation had been nominated an organiser of the united Russian layout at the exhibition in its capacity as the sole state intermediary in the sphere of military-technical co-operation with foreign states.
The Russian exposition is formed with due regard to the main areas in military-technical co-operation between Russia and India, as well as other countries in the region. 25 Russian defence industries present here above 370 samples of armament and military equipment as models, posters, electronic presentations, video films and advertising materials and over 70 samples of products of dual and civil application.
One of the central parts of the Russian exposition is occupied by export row of armour. T-90S main combat tank (MBT) is the best in its class and, undoubtedly, will attract attention of specialists. The successful implementation of the contract on supply of T-90S tanks to the Indian Army has demonstrated a technological maturity in the Indo-Russian military-technical co-operation.
