AGENCE FRANCE-PRESSE,
Moscow: Russia launched a new military satellite early Sunday from the Baikonur space centre in Kazakhstan, the latest addition to a network of about 60 similar Russian devices orbiting the planet, Russian space authorities said.
“The rocket Tsiklon-2 left Baikonur at 8:00 am (0400 GMT),” Alexei Kuznetsov, spokesman for the Russian space corps, was quoted as saying by Russian news agency ITAR-TASS.
