Pakistan Air Force (PAF) JF-17 Thunder presented a scintillating aerial display at the culmination of North Thunder Military Exercise held at King Khalid Military City in Kingdom of Saudi Arabia today.
King Salman bin Abdul Aziz along with Prime Minister of Pakistan Muhammad Nawaz Sharif and General Raheel Sharif, Chief of the Army Staff witnessed the spectacular ceremony. Heads of States, Senior government and military officials of various countries witnessed the aerial display.
It was a momentous occasion when PAF JF-17 Thunder presented spectacular aerial display in the skies of Saudi Arabia for the first time. The audience was left spell-bound to see the stunning maneuvers of this aircraft, which was flown by Squadron Leader Jawad Gilani.
The formation of PAF K-8 Advanced Jet Trainer Aircraft, commonly known as “Sherdils”, the aerobatics team of Pakistan Air Force Academy, Risalpur also presented some breath taking aerobatics as it appeared on the horizon spreading various colours.
North Thunder Exercise commenced on 14th February 2016 in Saudi Arabia and Armed Forces of 20 countries participated in the largest military drill in the world.
