IRNA, Pakistan is developing a new cruise missile with a longer range of 1,000 kilometre, said a Paksitani minister here Saturday.
Pakistani Information and Broadcasting Minister Sheikh Rashid Ahmed made the remark during a media workshop adding in Islamabad.
Pakistan has recently test-fired its maiden cruise missile on August 12 with a range of 500 kilometre.
Islamabad has a long history of developing missiles over the years of rivalry with India that has its own variety of missiles.
Both countries are now on the path to normalize their long-term severed relations, marred by tensions over Kashmir dispute.
