Operation Dragon Strike
Footage of Afghan and US troops involved in a major operation to drive the Taliban out of districts surrounding Kandahar. Some of the fighting has been taking place in Zahri, an area north of the city. Footage shows Afghan and US troops on patrol in Operation Dragon Strike and returning fire as they assault through a possible ambush, and sweep the area of Taliban. The US troops are from the 2nd Platoon, C Company, 2nd of the 502nd, 2nd Brigade, 101st Airborne Division.
