NOV 17 2010 – Souls Of Valor – Medal of Honor – Military Videos – The Pentagon Channel
The Pentagon Channel's newest production "Souls of Valor" takes a look at the extraordinary combat actions on the part of the last three Medal of Honor recipients.
A one hour tribute to three honorable "souls" who fought in three distinct battles, two in Afghanistan and one in Laos. This year Army Staff Sergeants Robert Miller, Salvatore Giunta and Air Force Chief Master Sergeant Richard Etchberger were awarded the Medal of Honor. The Pentagon Channel will devote an entire hour to these men, showcasing their heroic efforts and share their individual stories of grace under pressure. It is not often that three Servicemembers are presented this honor so close together in time.
The Pentagon Channel television service is distributed 24/7 and is available to all stateside cable and satellite providers, via American Forces Radio and Television Services, overseas and via the worldwide web.
In addition to enhancing Department of Defense communications with the 1.4 million active duty service members, the Pentagon Channel will provide the 1.2 million members of the National Guard and Reserve and the 650,000 civilian employees of the Department of Defense more timely access to military information and news.
