Canadian Press, MONTREAL – Engenuity Technologies says U.S. defence contractor Northrop Grumman is paying $238,000 US to license Engenuity's display-panel technology for Advanced Hawkeye aircraft.
The Advanced Hawkeye, in development for the U.S. navy, is an airborne early-warning and battle-management system.
“Engenuity Technologies is in a unique position today to be able to offer customers like Northrop Grumman a complete and unmatched solution for building state-of-the-art avionics systems,” Patrice Commune, CEO at Montreal-based Engenuity, said Tuesday in a release.
“We intend to leverage this sale and our technology into many more opportunities across the global aerospace and defence market over the course of 2004.”
Engenuity (TSX:EGY) develops, sells and supports software for the development of high-end visualization and simulation uses. Its customers include major aircraft and automobile makers.
