, U.S. defense contractor Northrop Grumman is threatening to withdraw its bid to supply the U.S. Air Force with a new generation of mid-air refueling tanker jets, the Wall Street Journal reported January 8.
Northrop, which has teamed up with European aviation giant EADS, has been vying to win the Air Force contract in competition against rival Boeing Co.
