General Dynamics , GROTON: The U.S. Navy has awarded General Dynamics Electric Boat a $16.4 million contract to perform routine maintenance work on the USS Dallas (SSN-700), a Los Angeles-class attack submarine. Electric Boat is a wholly owned subsidiary of General Dynamics.
Under the terms of the contract, Electric Boat will perform a Drydock Selected Restricted Availability, which consists of repairs, maintenance work and alterations. The work will take place at the Navy Submarine Base in Groton between February and April 2005.
