UK Ministry of Defence, Channel 4 News ran an item on their Monday evening bulletin (20 August 2007) which claimed that the Ministry of Defence is planning to procure thermobaric weapons and anti-structure missiles.
The MOD is purchasing a small number of enhanced blast munitions for use on operations. These have been procured in full accordance with the UK's obligations under international humanitarian law.
