A bit more to this recent naval news. It also looks like talks are progressing on "co-production" of seven Constellation frigates:

This will be a navy that punches well above it's weight! If we see a Greek Constellation frigate before the RCN gets it's first CSC I'll also have a fit...
Greece currently has 13 frigates, nine of them very old indeed. It has three FDI on order, so seven Constellation would give it ten new frigates. I'd expect the very old Elli class to be replaced first, & by the time all ten new ships were commissioned, the first of the 1990s vintage MEKO 200s (Hydra class) to need replacing.
