At sea aboard USS Benfold (DDG 65) Jul. 30, 2002 -- Sailors aboard the guided missile destroyer prepare for an underway replenishment (UNREP) while the destroyer USS Fitzgerald (DDG 62) prepares to take station alongside Benfold. Both vessels are participating in Fleet Battle Experiment Juliet (FBE-J) in the Pacific Ocean. FBE-J is part of training exercises supporting Millennium Challenge 2002 (MC-02), the nation's premier joint integrating event, bringing together both live field exercises and computer simulations throughout the Department of Defense.
