An original Bf-109 with the original DB-605 engine.
This bird was restaured in 30.000 hours of work and the Airpower 05 was only his 3rd or 4th display. Unfortunately it crashed a few weeks later during the landing in Germany. Pilote was safe, plane nearly destroyed.
Sorry for the quality of the pic, but at Zeltweg the afternoon is very hard to take good pics due to the sun position.
