A modified F-15E Strike Eagle, assigned to the 494th Fighter Squadron, launched on an operational training mission with the bomb release unit-61 attached to the center pylon at Royal Air Force Lakenheath, England, Monday. The aircraft was one of four to participate in the first training mission with the new technology.
