South China Sea (June 7, 2006) - Aviation Structural Mechanic 1st Class Tony Guerrero assigned to Commander, Fleet Activities Okinawa Drone Detachment, attaches an eye to connect a BQM-74E aerial target to a crane aboard USS Tortuga (LSD 46). The drone detachment is embarked aboard Tortuga in support of the Singapore phase of exercise Cooperation Afloat Readiness and Training (CARAT). CARAT is an annual series of bilateral maritime training exercises between the United States and six Southeast Asia nations designed to build relationships and enhance the operational readiness of the participating forces.
