This is a pic of the 1st Australian built Tiger Armed Reconaissance Helicopter under going system testing just prior to it's initial flight testing. This helo is due for service with the Australian Army Aviation Corps (161 or 162 Recce Squadrons) and will be based at Robertson Barracks at Darwin from 2005 onwards. They are armed with a 30mm cannon, 68mm folding fin aerial rockets and Hellfire 11 air to ground missiles.
