KSP 58DF is a modified version of the well known FN MAG-58, to fit the new standards of the Swedish Armed Forces. The MG still weights 11.6 kg but the system weight has been reduced by 3 kg.
It's shorter, has rails and a new barrel.
KSP 58DF is currently on trails and only 26 MGs of this type exists. The "F" in the designation stands for "Försök", it simply means "trail".
