Which 4th gen plane has most advanced radar?

I heard Eurofighter has the best 4.5 generation radar. Can someone give me like top 3 and what planes their used by?

I would assume that anyone who has the kind of data at hand that would be necessary to evaluate which of the 4th and 4.5th gen airplanes has the best radar would propably doing himself a big favor in not publicate any of them

AFAIR even allied nations don't share this kind of info with each other, although I could be wrong here...

Actually the US lead in AESA technology is so large that it's beyond competition in pure performance. So it's safe to say that the Eurofighter is not even in the running. Which exactly of the above mentioned is superior is definitely secret, but at present the Eurofighter doesn't even have AESA.

French Rafale also has AESA radar now, but not as good as the US ones.
UAE has requested an improved version of that radar, better than the F-16 blk60, as a prerequisite for any order of the Rafale.

With GaN modules F-2's new AESA, JAPG-1(kai), is rumored to have more range than AN/APG-79. Nobody can confirm it on the public forum though.

Since the question was "Which 4th gen plane has most advanced radar?" I only included planes that are operationally using their respective radar. In other words, no developmental (Mig-35/Rafale/Eurofighter AESA, etc) were included in my list.

isnt this a versus thread and as such banned?....esp as it doesnt seem to be backed by any sort of facts or figures and appears to be quickly deteriorating into an america is best exercise.....

shame,as this could have had potential in investigating the real world performances of the radars of the specified aircraft rather than just an aesa radar is superior full stop discussion...as i understand it there is a lot more to an efficient system than that in terms of data processing ,sheer power and size etc....

we say it repeatedy, but it just never seems to be absorbed by the platform warriors... its about the system not the widget, if you're not a node you're going to struggle to add value to the force construct except in the most minor combat construct - or against a threat thats nowhere "near peer"
