However unprofessional the instructor maybe, Am I the only one who finds it slightly funny?Ah, this lovely little video finally also appeared here.
This is just a plain dumb dickhead of an instructor trying to be funny while doing some MG3 stuff.
This is not how fire control orders work. Better to say nothing in this video is right. Investigations against the instructor are done.
I hope this idiot is kicked out immediately.
For sure everybody with military experience here has experiences with some real idiots in his army and this is a perfect example for a german idiot.
It is not supposed to happen but you cannot totally rule out that such things happen.
Fun is an important part of military life but this here is not fun anymore.
It's a shame...
Do they not use tracers for round counts anymore, this always has worked for me when training tankers to fire their coax or loader mount on tanks.Yeah pathfinder! i thought it was funny to! I remember an NCO giving a Greek guy 50 push ups "for racial impurity!". He was an instructer to. A skin head, who although an excellent soldier, and i mean excellent, was hampered in his career for his political beliefs. One of those guys that pass SAS selection only to be rejected....
And while some may find it usefull to use a phrase to count rounds, i think most blokes can work out how to fire 3 - 5 round bursts without catchy little phrases. As to the rest of the senareo givin by the NCO...yeah,well maybe he should have thought about some other enemy than a van full of Negro homies from the states!Read the comments below the video...
Ha Ha - I couldn`t bring up the video so I did not realize it was blanks.yeah, they use tracer,1 in 5 is tracer...just not visible in blanks!: Just the same, its not hard to squeez3e of 5 rd bursts, just by feel. Its kinda like knowing how far to turn the steering wheel, when cornering in your car...
There is absolutely no doubt that tremendous PR damage has been caused by photographs or videos that were probably taken as a joke but were somehow released into the public domain. Rightly or wrongly soldiers in the heat of battle, or even in the intensity of exercises and general training, will do or say inappropriate and politically incorrect things. I can live with that reality but let's not record it so that it ends up in the hands of a media that always seems to be on the lookout for ways to embarrass the military. What boggles my mind is when soldiers take photos and videos of this crap. From Abu Grhaib to the German Army these dumbasses need to learn to turn the camera OFF! Nobody would care what one dumb German NCO was spouting in training if no footage existed. The Iraqi insurgenecy wouldn't be as bad if the stupid couple hadn't used a camera. Perhaps cameras/camcorders should be confiscated from soldiers to prevent such insidences in the future? They obviously don't have the common sense to know when something is going to cause an international incident. I know that racism persists in all branches of the military, most of the US armed forces come from the Deep South so your bound to get an idiot or two. Germany has a few skinheads in her ranks... no nation is immune. There will always be racism and abuses, do we have to advertise it? :unknown
They certainly don't make quite the same impression as the old Wehrmacht of 1939!The video in itself isn't that bad, just some idiots playing about,
but in the beginning when he forgets to put the belt in, thats embarrassing
linkGerman Army dismisses instructor over African-American comment
No, but now you got me interested. What have you got?You have not seen all the freaky photos taken by Wehrmacht members during the war haven't you?
