Does vietnam made any weapon at all?
from what seem so far, they are either donate from other country or imported.
Are they not capable to make their own rifle? Small are pretty to make from what I learned. I think it is cheaper to make then buying stuffs and depended on other county for you own prodection.

No frame please, I am just curious.

90% of the world uses imported or license-produced small arms.

Vietnam is one of those that license-produce or straightout copy small arms designs from pistols all the way to surface-to-air missiles. And they're attempting to export regionally lately even, actually.

I work for Europe's largest defence company. Where do we draw the line?

For instance, their KS-19 100mm and S-60 75mm AAA crew-manned Soviet-legacy kit.

Vinamit produced conventional arms only.

So far, I read in chinese forum about vietnamese produced ScudB under Russian license and fast attack missiles boat and some Tantaful3 Gerap battleship and they upgrade all 60 pieces ScudC 700 km to 900 km , they fire from north vietnam to central part of the country, It succeeded. China is not happy with this.....:)
