USMC and US Army Body Armour?

could someone tell me does the" usmc" body armour differ from" us army" or is it just the colour ie uniform colour, also the us army helmets are the new version were as the usmc wear the old style?

the army uses the Interceptor bodyarmour where as the marines use a different type, Modual Assault Vest i memory serves. Dont know if the marines still use PASGT helemt or the new ACH that the army uses.

I think dragonscale was heavily critizised for not meeting expectations, AFAIK no orders were placed before the whole thing got reviewed in congress.

I wasnt sure because i was talking in another Forum and i couldnt find the post but tehy said They were not using there (Given Body Armor) and buying Dragonscale instead

Both the US Army and the USMC have stopped any soldier from wearing privately-procured armour of any kind, its now a court-martial offence as I understand it?

Dragonscale has been reported to be used by "some" SpecFor personnel tho' this has never been proven (or seen?). It may be that they have trialled the system as opposed to Operationally used the system?

The Marine Corp helmet while outwardly similar to the older PASGT helmet is actually a newly developed helmet as well, just not the Army ACH. Sometimes I wonder at how the Army and Marine Corp differ on items such as Body Armour and Hlemets.
