Thread for Discussion of the 2012 Presidential Election

There may or may not be a thread for this I didn't find one so here's one just in case. How do the candidates dictate national security defense and other policies that pertain to this website? Who's winning? Voice your opinions. For anyone not an American please tell us what you think. Webmaster will ban anyone trying to degrade you I'm guessing. I am not trying to endorse a candidate I don't know enough to make adecision yet. So I thought someone more well informed than me could shed some light on this topic.

Very wary of posting anything in this topic, AFAIK political jargon is frowned upon as it tends to heaten things up much quicker in comparison to regular defence topics.

OK, sorry. I just thought some people would be tell me the candidates' defense policies so I could have an idea of who to vote for. CNN, Fox and the like are just too biased. I can't get any reliable info from them in this topic.
