The U.S. Navy has procured a special version of the Global Hawk, the MQ-4C Triton maritime surveillance platform. The MQ-4C System Development and Demonstration (SDD) aircraft was delivered in 2012 and a total of 67 is ordered for the US Navy. Australia has ordered four Tritons, with the first entering service in June 2024.

South-Korea ordered 4 RQ-4B Block 30 Global Hawks in 2014. First aircraft delivered on 23 December 2019.
Japan ordered 3 RQ-4Bs in November 2018, with at least one delivered.
