Is there any snipers here, and if there is can one of you please describe your training that you went through. It doesn't have to be in detail.
Thnx in advance!!

Because you're an Officer? Or unusually clumsy, or both... :p: (Just jokes)

are you looking at sniper training as a whole package (ie. adv. marksmanship, recon, stalking etc) or how to shoot like a sniper (adv. marksmanship)?

i guess this will be what you want. however, nothing beats practicing on the range
Or rather nothing beats going up against another sniper or a squad of infantry dedicated to anti-sniper duties. BTW no sniper will talk or tell about their training. They might tell you about soldiering in general terms but nothing else. Same as asking about being a tank driver or going through jungle warfare. Why? cos its easier to talk to some1 who's done it and been through it. And I don't refer to just pulling the trigger or putting your foot hard on the gas pedal of your favored "best" AFV..

Nothing different from the rest. i guest it's more a talent for some. i'm a lousy shooter when i first hold a M-16. But after 2 years of training, we can see difference in skills among the cadets.

now, i've leave the mud walking and settled behind a desk. very comfy.
