Can the latest Russian air defence missile S-400 (triumph) successfully compete against the 5'th generation fighters such as F-22, F-35 and Eurofighter. I know that they all have a stealth technology incorporated in to them but there was F-117 shot down over Yugoslavia buy the Russian air defense missile that was developed in the 60's .

Some sources claim that the S-400 can lock on and destroy stealth targets. Dont know if this is just russian propaganda or if its true.

Dont relly think that the serbs had that kind of technology during the 1990s. The shotdown of the F-117 was probably just pure luck.

The shootdown wasn't luck. It was sloppyness on the American part and intelligent use of available means on the Serbian part. However it is in no way indicative of system-wide performance from either side. Overall this thread is clearly against forum rules which forbid vs threads. Not to mention the subject offers little opportunity for valid discussion. So I'm closing this.
