Which mentions training of the S-400 crews. I was under the impression that only one system (1 battallion) was delivered last year and was on duty by Elektrostal', in the 606th AD regiment. However the article talks about a who regimental training exercise, and yet mentions only the S-400 firings. Allegedly between two battallions and two regiments of the systems are to be received this year. Have they already been delivered and do the exercises include the new systems? Or is the S-400 simply the only one in the regiment that got to fire it's missiles, while the rest of the regiment still has S-300 and simply didn't participate? Also does anyone have any news on when the S-400 will be delivered this year?
EDIT: And here I found a GlobalSecurity.org article that seems to say that a whole regiment was deployed last year with another planned this year.
