Royal Thai Air Force F-16 crashed in Chaiyaphum during Cobra Gold exercise this morning. After serving my country for almost 30 years, This crash is the second involving any type of F-16 fighter in the Thai Air Force. Fortunately, the two pilots managed to eject their seats from the plane and parachuted to the ground safely.

Thanks to God, the pilots are alive. I remember a crashing of Su-27 here in Ukraine, during the aviashow. A lot of people died.

Royal Thai Air Force lost 3 F-16s in 4 month. They had lost their first F-16 on a training mission crashed in Tak province 4 months ago and 2 more Vipers from this morning crashed. The cause of accident still under investigation. RTAF used to has a reputation for 30 years of F-16 operations without major accident. :(
