Latest RAAF JDAM-ER Test Successful.

ER (extended range) is the wing kit attached to give a conventional JDAM kit more stand-off range than the standard versions range of 10-13 miles (16-20.8km )

The wing kit RAAF used here is developed by Hawker de Havilland, based on technology licensed from the Defence Science and Technology Organisation (DSTO) . Assuming all of these tests are successful, full production of the wing kit will be in Australia. (source: Defence Today (Strike Publications)-Sep/Oct-2006, p.7 )
