Sofia. The Polish air forces are planning to buy 48 multifunctional jetfighters F-16 till the end of 2008. 36 of them will be one-seated F-16Cs and the rest 12 will be two-seated versions of Lockheed Martin.
The first four of the newest F-16s are expected to arrive till 11 November 2006.
“Poland will get 8 jetfighters in 2006. Another 16 F-16s will be supplied in 2007 and the rest 24 – in 2008â€, the director of the Realization Program Gen. Roman Bashuk announced.
