can any one help to know, why Queen is given much importance in Great Britain as during Golden Revolution, there was the King rule.
As in India also when Proclamation was read in 1858 - it was called Queen proclamation. why ?
Because in Britain, the head of state is a single person - either the King or the Queen, whoever succeeds the previous ruler. Queen Elizabeth's husband is just that - the Queen's husband, not the King.
