PESA radars are easier to make construct than a AESA radar
but which one is more effective
PESA radars examples in jets are like
AN/APQ-164 B-1B
AN/APQ-181 B-2 Spirit
N035 Irbis (see Sukhoi Su-35BM)
RBE2 (Rafale)
NIIP N011M Bars for SU-30MKI

where AESA radars examples are like
Ericsson PS-05/A MK-5 for JAS 39 Gripen
Northrop Grumman SABR, for F-16 Fighting Falcon upgrades
Raytheon AN/APG-63(V)2 and AN/APG-63(V)3, for the F-15C Eagle and Republic of Singapore's F-15SG
Raytheon APG-79, for the F/A-18E/F Super Hornet and EA-18G Growler
Raytheon AN/APQ-181 (AESA upgrade currently in development), for the B-2 Spirit bomber
AMSAR, research from the European GTDAR consortium, for Eurofighter and Rafale fighter Radar

GIVE TECHNICAL ANSWER PLEASE

A *better* question (and one not against forum T&C) would be to ask "What are the differences between PESA and AESA radar systems?" rather then asking "Which one is better?" which falls into the category of a versus thread.

Forum rules can be found here.

Relevant rule is:
Do not start "this vs that" topic threads. We encourage detailed comparison of weapon systems which looks at capabilities of weapon systems being compared but not in form of "weapon A vs. weapon B." Please be detailed and give reasons why such and such weapon system would be better for various conflict scenarios.
