The second F-22P/Type-053 Class Frigate for Pakistan Navy (from China) enters Karachi's port for the 1st time. The pictures were taken as it arrived for formal induction ceremony today (23rd January, 2010). These are exclusive pictures for Defence Talk.

While I am sure Pakistan's Navy would prefer to order four more ships of another class of frigates, ordering four more F22P ships would be nice to replace their six modified Type 21s and two Type 12s. Pakistan is getting from China good value for their money. Frankly, the F22P frigates are better ships overall than their modified Type 21s.
