Looking into tactical airlifters on what the future holds, there could be some competition in the future 30t ton market, it seems that with C17 Globemaster line closing in the near future customers looking in this market Airbus A400M might be the only choice.
I found an interesting type demonstrator Lockheed Martin Skunk Works’ MACK concept aircraft. Makes for interesting reading.

There’s a photo of the aircraft refuelling an F35 i would assume it a concept drawing of some sort.
