You may have seen this from a james bond movie but there are roumors that the us navy have plans to bulid one, anyone know if this is true?

While the US Navy is interested in building cruisers, destroyers, and littoral combat ships with the least radar signatures as possible, they aren't interested in paying huge amounts for the same stealth materials as the F-22 or F-35 have? If anything, the US Navy is attempting to buy and build cheaper ships. Much like the rest of the world.

That ship was loosely based on the Sea Shadow that the USN operated to test waterborne stealth and other engineering concepts. It is currently up for donation as a museum.
