Deepak Divekar has been doubling as General Musharraf for several years - and was signed up recently by India's governing BJP party for its election campaign.

A work colleague first spotted the resemblance - leading to several film roles.

"If he hadn't told me to shave off my beard, I wouldn't have shot to prominence," Mr Divekar says.

He does sometimes receive threats: "At one point I even had to shave my moustache off because people looked at me and became angry." "But when peace moves started and relations improved, people were not as furious."

Hmm...I just think we shouldn't put people down for no apparent reason, and because you think this man is not of equal calibre to another a couple thousand miles away in a different life and occupation is not adequate, I believe.

I still don't see how Deepak Divekar, through his own pastimes and expressions, is comunicating a deliberate sense of 'lowness' to his associated lookalike, President Musharraf, via the microscopic pixels that make up the digital news imagery. Could you enlighten us?

Musharaf is from U.P yeah i am not sure where exactly he came from but its round around delhi.
