Advanced Electronics Company signs Agreement with Thales Company
Riyadh, April 06, SPA -- The Advanced Electronics Company and Thales International Company signed here today a strategic cooperation agreement to establish a company to manufacture Training Simulators in Saudi Arabia.
The new company will be called "Advanced Arab Company of Simulators", and it will be located in the technical area at King Khaled International Airport in Riyadh.
On this occasion, the Chief Executive Officer of the Advanced Electronics Company , Dr. Ghassan bin Abdulrahman Al-Shebel expressed his appreciation of and gratitude to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince Sultan bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Deputy Premier, Minister of Defense and Aviation and Inspector General, Prince Khalid bin Sultan bin Abdulaziz, Assistant Minister of Defense and Aviation for Military Affairs and Prince Fahd bin Abdullah, Assistant Minister of Defense and Aviation for Civil Aviation who is also the Chairman of Economic offset Committee for their continued keenness to transfer the advanced technology to the Kingdom and provide employment opportunities for citizens through urging the foreign companies on joint cooperation with the private sector for the great interest of the national economy.

Thales and AEC sign JV
Thales, a global leader in mission-critical information systems for the aerospace, defense and security markets, and Advanced Electronics Company, a Riyadh-based company, have signed an agreement to establish a new company to manufacture simulators in the kingdom. The partnership will include the design, development and manufacture of different types of simulators in the kingdom and provision of training and full technical support, manpower and spare parts.
