I have been researching the use of formal military planning processes, and am aware of few including;
In Australia - Military Appreciation Process (MAP) and Joint Military Appreciation Process (JMAP).
In the US Army - Military Decision Making Process (MDMP),
However I would be interested to learn of the existence of other countries planning processes, and/or what people think of these formal approaches to developing plans. (e.g. They are critical to success, they are a total waste of time).
BTW, moderator, I am new to these forums, so if this entry is in the wrong spot, or inappropriate, please move or delete at will.
