However I wanted to tell you that the best preparation you can do for joining the ADF is to study the history of the branch/unit you want to join. Official unit histories, the AWM site, your local RSL are all good sources.
Understanding the history and tactics of your unit is more important than doing 10 mile runs in full marching gear.
Youre an Aussie, ask questions, listen carefully to the answers, know your history, its very important.
