Meet Major Kristin “Beo” Wolfe. This young lady is the first female single fighter demonstration pilot in the United States Air Force in history. Kristin or better called “Beo” is the display pilot of the USAF F-35 Demo Team. Wolfe started her career on the F-22 Raptor in the United States after her basic training. After three years she moved on to the American F-35 program in 2017. Currently she is based at Hill Air Force Base where she is one of the few female 5th generation fighter pilots. She is a true source of inspiration for young American girls to become whatever they are dreaming of. In the modern world she is really an example for many women serving in the military.
In this interview she explains how the demonstration is built up. In the demo the F-35 is showing what this aircraft is able to do. The Lockheed Martin F-35 is a 5th generation fighter jet and is the most advanced fighter aircraft in the world. The USAF was present this year to demonstrate the aircraft during the Sanicole Airshow in Belgium. During this show “Beo” was the absolute super star of the program. Her demonstration was fabulous; she really showed to what the F-35 Lightning II is capable off. The crowd loved the demonstration. After some heavy rain showers the sky was moisturized and the aircraft was producing a lot of vapor during its tight maneuvers. The F-35 Lightning II is the future for many NATO countries!
