M60A3 w/TTS and M1 Abrams

Has the M1 Abrams fire control been updated to a point equalling or surpassing the M60 w/ TTS? I have spoken to a few former M60 TTS tankers who swore by its capabilities. AFAIK an equivalent system was not installed in the M1 due to its size, weight and cost. Just curious if the upgraded M1s have changed this.

A M1/A1 series tank fire control system is a lot better than that on a M60A3, exception being the TTS sight which was alot better on a M60A3. The M1A2 has a better thermal than the M60A3. Alot of people do not realize this but the TTS on the M60A3 actually came from France.
